I started my photography business in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2013. I have enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful families over the years and am so thankful for the support of friends in my business venture. 2020 brought many challenges. After shutdowns, momentum was stifled by raining ash from wildfires. Then I was extremely happy to be expecting our third child. Like many photographers, I took a break to focus on my family. Not long after our daughter was born, we decided to move from California to be near our family.
We traded the San Francisco Bay for the Irondequoit Bay of the greater Rochester area and settled in Webster, NY. We love having different seasons again. Snow is not new to me since I grew up in Ohio, but it has been a long time since I’ve lived with it. Best of all, we are on the same side of the country as our family after being away for almost 15 years. We are enjoying exploring Webster and getting to know the community here. Restarting my business, in Webster, has seemed like a daunting task, but now our home is a little more put together and my little baby isn’t such a little baby anymore, so I feel like it is time to unpause. As a stay-at-home-mom with a degree in Film, I am excited to get back out there with my cameras and meet families and couples.
