It has been ten years since I started Jackie Rutan Photography! I cannot believe it. Bob and I had been only married one year when we moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco for work and we were trying to figure out what life together would look like. It was Bob who surprised me with my first Nikon camera that Christmas and I was off! I studied film and video in college and learning how to build a business and make memorable photos for couples and families became my passion project.
In those ten years, I have had three adorable children. After the birth of our daughter, we picked up and headed back to the east coast. Now we live just outside of Rochester, NY in the town of Webster. We have so enjoyed getting to know the area as a young family, taking photos along the way.
I am so grateful to all of the friends, couples and families that I have worked with over the years. Here is a handful of some of my favorite photos from the last ten years. Here’s hoping for many more to come!
